The impact of CHANGE lies in tackling known main barriers of gender equity in science and research by involving relevant stakeholders and key actors in research organisations, listen to their experiences and co-produce gender equity knowledge together. This has been the core idea of CHANGE since its start in 2018.

Portuguese CHANGE team organises a lunch seminar

The CHANGE project team participated in the organisation of a lunch seminar entitled Transnational higher education: means for social mobility or echo of persistent inequality?, with researchers from CIPES - Centre for Research on Higher Education Policies at the Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences (DCSPT) on the 17-01-2022. The keynote speaker was Antonina Levatino, from the Department of Sociology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, whose research has been focused on student mobility in higher education. During the session, among other aspects, there was a reflection on the need and importance of adopting the gender dimension in an intersectional way throughout the research process.
