During the first half of 2022, UNIZA hosted numerous events for the academic community to promote understanding of GE.

In spring we started in an online evironment with the training "Gender equality and gender sensitive language" aiming at the UNIZA marketing department inclusive the PR section and UNIZA Consulting and Career Center. Both departments communicate broadly with their internal and external clients.

We are happy to announce that trained has been also the UNIZA senior management, inclusive the rector, vice-rectors and deans of the particular faculties.

At the end of June we met colleagues throughout the whole university interested in effects of unconscious bias on their behaviour.

"I will try to judge students less based on their appearance or behaviour."

"Just the consciousness that I can also have stereotypes but I am able to reduce them is something what helps one to advance."

These were only two examples of the feedback we received and hope that the participants (inclusive the CHANGE team) will be able to transfer the lessons learned into the practice.

The last training session, media training, was focused on the writing of effecctive PR articles, communication with media. Attendees realized how to make female researchers more visible thanks to avoiding of the generic masculine or what kind of support they can expect internally from university. All the respondents stated in the feedback form that they would recommend the training to the colleagues and that they would be interested in additional training of this kind in future.
